DINOSAUR-QUEST Announces Launch of New Dinosaur Exhibit in San Antonio
GRAND OPENING MAY 1st
San Antonio, Texas – 4/19/10 - DINOSAUR-QUEST will be opening its doors to San Antonio on May, 1, 2010. Located downtown at the Rivercenter Mall, the 21,000 square foot exhibit will feature life-size dinosaur skeletons, all under captivating lights, sound effects and high-end animation.
“It’s more than your typical exhibit. It's a museum-like experience created to be educational and entertaining for the entire family,” said Xavier Villalón, Executive Producer of DINOSAUR-QUEST.
This attraction will display over sixteen stunning life-size skeletons and hundreds of skulls showcased under a tapestry of lights and sound. The exhibit will also house educational animation videos, with the special “T-Rex Theatre”.
DINOSAUR-QUEST was established with a mission to present a variety of dinosaur skeletal pieces using lights, sound and animation to culminate the experience into scientific entertainment.

The second annual 2009 Luminaria event was a huge success attracting over an estimated 100,000 in attendance. The downtown San Antonio event has been praised to be a promising event with a bright future! Crowds gathered to see local and regional artists display their visual art enhanced by vibrant colors of lighting. Most of the downtown area is illuminated by regional and local lighting companies showcasing a tapestry of colors and light design.
World Audio & Lights helped artist Laura Varela and Vaago Weiland with their "Enlighten Tent" and the indigenous video segment. Over 70 LED Color Kinetics color blasts decorated the area with warm inviting colors, while the 10k video projector displayed the 9-minute video on the Historic Alamo.
